Every autumn, when the hills of Eastern Crete cool down and the first winds arrive from the sea, the olive harvest begins. Our October–November 2025 harvest of single-origin, organic/Bio certified, PDO extra virgin olive oil from Greece is now available. It is fresh, aromatic and full of the natural character of our region.

Harvesting on Mountain Slopes, the Traditional Cretan Way
Our olive groves grow on rugged mountain terraces shaped by wind, stone and centuries of cultivation. Because the terrain is steep and uneven, large mechanical harvesters cannot reach the trees.

We harvest in the traditional Cretan way:
Nets placed gently under each tree
Hand tools and sticks
Modern electric harvest rods
Slow, careful work that protects both the fruit and the tree

It is not the fastest method, but it produces exceptional quality and maintains the health of the land.
